Who do you have in your life that helps you see another perspective? Who do you have that holds you accountable? Who do you have that shares wisdom and insights with you when you need it most? For sports fans out there…think about the role of the coach for every professional team in the world.
But the shocking reality is most business owners don’t understand the value of a coach in their own professional life. Monique Caradine shares her journey to being a winner and the value of a coach in her life. We talk about the importance of vision, hustle, and passion. Discover why “every winner has a coach”.
Monique’s Target Audience: Monique’s target market is women entrepreneurs who have been employed and are highly-skilled hard-working experts looking to successfully move on to the next level of their business.
Monique is a veteran radio, TV host and producer who involuntarily left due to changes in the industry. After earning multiple coaching certifications, she transitioned from television to the coaching business she has today. She built this business on a solid foundation of hard work and learning…after overcoming tremendous struggles.
Her clients primarily used to be men but she shifted to serving women. She has been helping women who are a lot like her when she was in the trenches, or as she says, the previous version of her. Monique loves speaking to women and giving workshops and coaching in three specific areas: mindset, marketing/visibility, and money.

Today Monique talks about why she serves women, her journey through the trenches and the things she did to dig herself out. Her first tip for leaders is to narrow down their target market. She tells us that she has narrowed down her audience so much that she can literally visualize their details like age and marital status.
But that niching down didn’t come easily, nor did it come overnight! When she first started her own business, she worked tirelessly day after day, but her bank account did not line up with her expertise. So she knew something had to change and she took steps that later proved to be vital in changing her work, her business and ultimately her income.

The first thing that she did was hire a business coach. She knew she had blind spots, but initially she thought hiring someone wasn’t necessary. After realizing the only way she’d be able to see her blind spots was with a coach, Monique was able to shift the things that were holding her back. Doing so helped her move forward to a whole new level of success.
The other thing she did was to create a vision of who she wanted to be. She decided she would be very successful, doing the things that she loved and she wouldn’t accept anything else. Exactly how she did this and what that experience was like for her are discussed step by step in this episode.

Practical & Actionable:
Monique says the most practical and actionable thing that you can do right now is to rub shoulders with the people that you want to become. If you want to be a millionaire, you must find a way to be around millionaires.
